The Witcher 4 Welcomes Notable Developer from Baldur's Gate 3

CD Projekt RED enhances The Witcher 4 team with talented developer Felix Pedulla from Baldur's Gate 3, signaling a significant boost in production efforts.

The Witcher 4 has recently boosted its development team by adding Felix Pedulla, who previously served as a Senior Cinematic Artist on Baldur’s Gate 3. Pedulla is set to utilize his expertise at CD Projekt RED, particularly during a pivotal phase of production.

Official announcements regarding The Witcher 4 began in 2022, with the first trailer unveiling at The Game Awards in December 2024. Despite entering full-scale production only in late 2024, the team appears to be assembling a roster of top-tier talent, striving to meet the standards established by The Witcher 3, acclaimed for its expansive world and intricate storytelling.

As announced on LinkedIn, Felix Pedulla’s transition to CD Projekt RED marks a significant step in his career where he is eager to craft exciting cinematic experiences for the next installment of The Witcher series. In his words, it’s time “to trade in my Baldur’s Gate dice for some Polish steel and get to work crafting some epic cutscenes.”

As CD Projekt RED lays its groundwork for another ambitious Witcher trilogy, they aim to indulge players in rich narratives and immersive gaming experiences.
