A community team statement confirmed that a plan to require players to visit Rahool in the Tower to decrypt Prime Engrams will be scrapped, removing an additional hurdle for accessing loot. Despite some praise for this decision, calls for further adjustments persist, especially regarding Solo Ops and loadout restrictions.

Historically, Bungie has faced criticism for nerfing gameplay elements that enhance player enjoyment. Although the studio aims for balance, major updates often result in changes or nerfs that disappoint the player base.
