Originally launched on January 10, 2021, this title has gained traction on platforms such as the PlayStation 5 and PC, and is now making its way to Nintendo’s latest console. During the Nintendo Direct held on September 12, 2025, it was revealed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade would be available on January 22, 2026. Originally, many fans expected a late 2025 release, but the new date is approaching fast for eager players.
Square Enix has assured fans that the game will operate at 30 FPS on Switch 2. While some were hoping for higher frame rates, the focus remains on maintaining the game’s impressive visuals.
Furthermore, while not officially confirmed, there are hints that the sequel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, may also eventually release on Switch 2, creating excitement among the gaming community about the trilogy’s potential arrival on the new platform.
