Developers Acknowledge the Intentionally Difficult Tornado Biome in Peak

Developers clarify that the extreme challenges presented by the new tornado biome were not accidental but a design choice.

Developers at Aggro Crab, the team behind the game Peak, have confirmed that the difficulty in their new tornado biome was a deliberate choice. Although players initially reported it as a bug, the team stated, “We really did just make it that evil.” They also shared that the tornado biome has received a slight reduction in difficulty, assuring fans that it will not be as punishing as before.

In addition to the tornado biome updates, the latest patch introduces features like a color blindness mode, enhancing gameplay accessibility. Players can now better distinguish fruit types based on their patterns, which should improve the overall experience.

“If you didn’t know, biomes have biome variants,” said the developers, referring to the varying challenges players may encounter. The adjustments aim to make gameplay more enjoyable without compromising on the game’s challenging nature.

For those seeking further details and patch notes, they can be found on the official Steam page.
