Bioshock Film Producer Confirms It Will Draw From the Initial Game
The producer of the upcoming Bioshock movie has revealed that it will be based on the original game. However, fans will have to wait some time before it hits the screens.
In a recent interview, Roy Lee, the producer for the Bioshock movie, confirmed that the film will indeed be based on the original game. While the excitement is palpable, the release is still some time away.
“Netflix wants us to keep everything under wraps,” Lee stated, hinting at the project’s progress while still maintaining a veil of secrecy. “But it’s definitely going to be based on the first Bioshock game.”
Additionally, Lee mentioned that the director, Francis Lawrence, is currently busy with projects, including the next installment in The Hunger Games series before focusing on Bioshock.
The project was initially announced in 2022, sparking interest among fans of the series who await an immersive adaptation of Rapture’s underwater city.
