New September Update Released for Elden Ring Nightreign
The latest update for Elden Ring Nightreign introduces significant balance changes and bug fixes to enhance gameplay.
Elden Ring Nightreign has officially released its 1.02.2 update, introducing several key balance adjustments and bug fixes in the popular co-op Soulslike. Released in May, Elden Ring Nightreign quickly became a commercial success, selling over 5 million units. Despite some early criticisms regarding solo play balance, the multiplayer aspect of the game has been highly praised, holding an average critic score of 81 on OpenCritic.
The 1.02.2 update addresses various issues, including adjustments to character classes. For example:
- The Wylder class now has increased Poise while using Claw Shot.
- The Guardian class receives buffs to Strength and Dexterity.
Additionally, over 25 bugs were fixed, and modifications to online session penalties have also been made. Players can avoid penalties for quitting due to network issues if they rejoin the session.
The upcoming September adjustments will introduce the “Deep of Night” game mode on September 11, which is aimed at veteran players, increasing the game’s difficulty while offering new rewards to maintain player engagement.
With frequent updates, Elden Ring Nightreign is expected to remain a dominant player in the co-op gaming scene into 2025 and beyond.
