Mark Darrah Weighs In: What If Dragon Age 4 Released Earlier?
Former BioWare producer Mark Darrah speculates that the original Dragon Age 4 could have fared better if released earlier.
In a recent YouTube Q&A session, former BioWare producer Mark Darrah discussed potential outcomes had the original version of Dragon Age 4 been launched earlier, specifically in February 2019. He suggested that this compromised game might have met with a warmer reception compared to the latest installment, The Veilguard.
“I do think that Joplin’s gonna live as this mythological game in a lot of people’s memories,” Darrah noted.
This statement reflects Darrah’s belief that the unreleased version of Dragon Age, codenamed Joplin, would have been more successful, especially when compared to the troubled Veilguard.
