E3 Event Organizers Unveil New iicon Conference Exclusively for Industry Leaders

The Entertainment Software Association has revealed a new exclusive event called iicon, aimed at connecting industry executives and fostering innovative discussions.

The Entertainment Software Association has announced a new conference, dubbed iicon, which is designed to connect leaders from across the gaming industry. This event will focus on discussions and networking among executives, offering opportunities for keynote speeches, workshops, and elite networking.

“The Entertainment Software Association and its member companies are among the innovators and leaders shaping the future of culture, business and human connection,” said Doug Bowser, Chairman of ESA. “It’s a natural role for ESA to host and support an event that fosters an open exchange of new ideas with our peer industry leaders.”

With the previous E3 having ended in 2023, the iicon is positioned to provide access primarily to executives, rather than the general public. The objective is to inspire collaboration and innovation within the interactive entertainment sector, highlighting its significance in both culture and business.

Despite this noble goal, it seems less likely to replicate the excitement found in the traditional E3 events when the public was able to attend. The iicon focuses more on executive issues, such as industry trends and financial discussions, than on public engagement.

For those interested in participating, the event will take place in Las Vegas, just a couple of months after another industry-focused event, DICE. Attendance is open to specific industry leaders until April 2026.
