Square Enix confirms the remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, set to revive the classic game later this year.
Square Enix has officially unveiled Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, a remaster that will encompass two distinct versions of the beloved RPG. This highly anticipated release is scheduled for September 30, 2025.
During a recent PlayStation showcase, the company detailed that the remaster will include a classic edition that remains faithful to the original 1997 game, utilizing the War of the Lions translation from its PSP era. Additionally, the enhanced edition boasts a redesigned user interface, fully voiced dialogue, improved graphics, and several quality-of-life upgrades to attract new players.
The enhanced difficulty setting aims to make the game more accessible, offering newcomers a smooth introduction to the intricacies of tactical gameplay.
