Shores of Vaelithar was initiated from a viral, AI-generated clip by Midjourney. According to its studio, Desimulate, all in-game content is produced entirely by human artists without the use of AI-generated materials.

“We are not using AI to develop any in-game asset or in-engine in any way,” stated the team.

However, they acknowledge that the art style concept originated from Midjourney, highlighting a prevalent debate in today’s gaming industry regarding the integration of AI in creative processes.
