Good News for World of Warcraft Players: Artifact Weapons in Legion Remix

World of Warcraft announces that most artifact weapon appearances will be available in the upcoming Legion Remix event, excluding certain types.

World of Warcraft Update

World of Warcraft has announced that most artifact weapon skins, except those obtained from the Mage Tower or PvP battles, will be accessible during the Legion Remix event. Players can utilize this limited-time opportunity to permanently unlock the eye-catching artifact weapon skins from the original Legion expansion for their World of Warcraft accounts.

Legion Remix is set to launch soon, bringing the highly anticipated revival of the original expansion with Patch 11.2.5, which will go live on October 7. However, there has been some confusion regarding the availability of artifact weapon appearances in this event.

Clarification on Artifact Appearances

The developers have confirmed that players will be able to earn all four color variations of the Original, Upgraded, Valorous, and Hidden artifact weapons via Legion Remix. As with other rewards in this mode, players will unlock them across their accounts, allowing the use of these skins on characters in the main game.

It is essential to note that the Challenging and War-torn variants are not included. These were obtainable through the Mage Tower and PvP respectively. Consequently, players should not expect to find these now-unavailable variants in the Legion Remix event.

Additionally, there remains uncertainty about how specific classes, such as the Paladin or Mage, will unlock their Hidden skins, which traditionally require leaving the Broken Isles—a limitation in this event. Changes in acquisition methods might be required to suit the event’s restrictions, but players will need to wait until the beginning of WoW: Legion Remix to learn the specifics.

Beyond the Legion Remix, Patch 11.2.5 will introduce new features, including additional character slots per account, enhancements to the Cooldown Manager, and a Turbo-Boost for Season 3 progression, marking a significant update as the Midnight expansion approaches.
