In a recent overview, Gabe Cuzzillo, one of the developers behind the game Baby Steps, mentioned,

“You shouldn’t know very much about this game when you play it, because it’s full of surprises and they’re fun.”

This comedic walking simulator offers unexpected twists that keep players engaged. Cuzzillo humorously freestyles facts about the game, remarking on its ambient soundtrack which he describes as “kind of subtle and cool and interesting, unlike anything you’ve ever played.”

Despite the humorous tone, Baby Steps also aims to offer players moments of reflection, suggesting that the game’s mechanics might evoke personal insights as players navigate its challenges.

The game is set to launch on Steam on September 23, 2025.
