Great news, everyone! Bloodlines 2 is now a free-for-all for vampires. Following the announcement of DLC that featured two clans, Lasombra and Toreador, Paradox and The Chinese Room have ultimately reversed the questionable decision to keep these clans as paid content. Both clans will now be included in the base game at no extra charge, allowing players to traverse Seattle as either a captivating creature or a shadowy schemer.

“Thanks to our community for the frank feedback on Bloodlines 2 and the Premium Edition,” said Marco Behrmann, the executive producer. “That feedback made it clear: Lasombra and Toreador belong in the base game, so that is what we are doing.”

This adjustment will allow the base game to feature a total of six clans, with the Deluxe Edition including a cosmetic pack (Santa Monica Memories) and the Premium Edition offering additional story packs titled Loose Cannon and The Flower & The Flame, set for release in 2026.

Currently, the game is still set to launch on October 21 and this change means less initial DLC; a welcome outcome for many. Instead of paying extra for features designed in tandem with the main game, players can look forward to new stories fleshing out two characters—Brujah sheriff Benny and Toreador Primogen Ysabella—next year.

With a strong commitment to addressing player feedback, the leadership at Paradox is displaying commendable responsiveness to community concerns.
