Nightmare Kart Expands with New Free DLC Featuring Sniper Weapons

The upcoming DLC for Nightmare Kart adds new features and gameplay elements, enhancing the racing experience inspired by Bloodborne.

Bloodborne may be a dream for PC players, but Nightmare Kart offers a unique racing alternative. Originally titled Bloodborne Kart, this fan project enthralls players with its mix of Lovecraftian horror and humorous racing setups. The game features 15 tracks and 21 racers, all at no cost, marking it with an ‘overwhelmingly positive’ rating on Steam.

The expansion, titled The Old Karts, introduces a new mini campaign, new powerups, tracks, and characters, and will be free like the base game. Gameplay trailers showcase sniper rifles as a new feature, alongside adversaries such as harpies.

Although Nightmare Kart started as a humorous concept, it has become a robust and enjoyable experience. A release date for The Old Karts is yet to be announced, but it will be available ‘when it’s ready’.

Keep an eye out for updates, because Nightmare Kart is truly the nearest experience fans have to playing Bloodborne on PC.
