Palworld Goes Silent as Pocketpair Prepares for Full Release in 2026
Palworld, after nearly two years in early access, is set for its official launch in 2026, but the developer, Pocketpair, is prioritizing bug fixes over new content for the remainder of 2025.
Almost two years after its early access debut, Palworld is inching closer to its full release, expected in 2026. However, in an update shared on the developer’s social media, Pocketpair announced that they will be focusing on ironing out glitches and quirks instead of rolling out major updates through the end of 2025.
“Beyond just adding new content, there’s a lot of cleanup that needs to be done before Palworld can exit early access,” states Bucky, Pocketpair’s community director, in an update video. “It’s no secret that Palworld has a lot of quirks and jank, and we want to take the time to properly address those before releasing the game. With that in mind, we plan to start this cleanup this year.”
This means players should expect a quieter finish to the year, with less substantial updates compared to previous ones like Feybreak, which introduced significant gameplay expansions.
The studio is preparing for upcoming sneak peeks of the new content planned for the 1.0 update, aimed at providing glimpses into what players can look forward to as its official launch nears.
