Speculations on the Release Timeline for Battlefield 6's Battle Royale Mode

A recent rumor suggests that the Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6 may be available shortly after the game's launch.

Battlefield 6 players might not have to wait long after the game’s debut to engage with the Battle Royale mode. A new rumor points to a potential release for this free-to-play addition around October 28, following the official launch on October 10. Fans are eagerly anticipating Battlefield 6, hoping it can outperform the controversial Battlefield 2042.

Previously, EA mentioned that the Battlefield 6 beta, which launched recently, was the largest in the franchise’s history with over 473,000 concurrent players on Steam. Many players reported issues during the beta, leading EA to announce several forthcoming changes based on community feedback, including weapon modifications and map adjustments as the final release approaches.

Battlefield 6’s Free-to-Play Battle Royale Mode May Release Around October 28

According to a recent Twitter update from CharlieIntel, Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode may become available by the end of October, notably around the 28th. This highly awaited mode will introduce exclusive features, including a deadliest ring in BR that kills players instantly upon contact. The mode promises fully destructible environments, an expansive map, vehicles for transportation, and matches accommodating up to 100 players. More specific information is slated for release soon.

Moreover, Battlefield Studios has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will feature console-only crossplay between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The game will utilize Javelin, its anti-cheat mechanism designed to filter out cheaters effectively, allowing console players to maintain a clean gaming experience, even if crossplay is disabled.
