
Following the Nintendo Direct on September 12, Square Enix announced that physical copies of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for the Switch 2 will come with a booster pack from Magic: The Gathering, featuring the game’s crossover set. Note that this booster pack will be available only while supplies last.
The Nintendo Direct also introduced several announcements, including that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is set to release on the Switch 2 and Xbox consoles on January 22, 2026. This version will feature the original game and the Episode INTERmission DLC, alongside various in-game bonuses such as the Carbuncle Summon Materia.
Digital pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop come with an additional bonus of the original Final Fantasy 7 available for download until January 31.
FF7 Remake Intergrade Will Include Some MTG Cards
The upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be available as a Game-Key Card. Notably, it was confirmed that physical copies from Switch 2 will include a Magic: The Gathering booster pack, which contains 14 random cards from the crossover set based on Final Fantasy, limited to available stock. Whether the Xbox version will include a similar offer remains uncertain.
As of now, Final Fantasy booster packs can go for as low as $15, making the opportunity to secure the Switch 2 port enticing for fans. Square Enix is committed to bringing the entire Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy to all major current platforms, leaving fans eager to see how long they will have to wait for the ports of the other entries.
