Square Enix has already determined an internal release timing for the eagerly awaited Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3. Although the official release window hasn’t been officially announced, buzz around the title has intensified following this confirmation that has fans speculating about its exact launch date.
Initially released in 2020, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake began a reimagined trilogy for the classic game, followed by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in 2024, which received both commercial success and critical acclaim, even earning a Game of the Year nomination.
During a recent stream, Part 3’s director, Tetsuya Nomura, hinted at the specific launch date, indicating that developers are diligently working to meet this target. In a related note, Cloud Strife’s English voice actor, Cody Christian, previously suggested that development on Part 3 is advancing more quickly than expected. Reports point to a potential release around 2027 or 2028, though Square Enix has yet to officially showcase the title.
