Build-a-Bear Unveils New Plushie Based on Litten from Pokémon

A new plush version of Litten, a popular fire starter from Pokémon Sun and Moon, will soon be available as part of Build-a-Bear's Pokémon line.

Fans of Pokémon Sun and Moon who appreciate Litten will be thrilled, as Build-a-Bear is releasing a plush toy inspired by this beloved starter. The latest addition to the Pokémon Build-a-Bear collection is set to launch soon.

The collaboration between the Pokémon franchise and Build-a-Bear has been ongoing for nearly ten years, having originally started with Pikachu, followed by Eevee from Pokémon Let’s Go. Since then, the collection has expanded to include many favorite creatures. This year alone, we’ve seen plushes like Yamper, Wooloo, Wooper, and even a Jumbo Gengar.

Announcement of Litten’s Arrival

The latest revelation is the introduction of Litten, the fire starter from Pokémon Sun and Moon. Currently, a listing for Litten is visible on the Build-a-Bear website, though it isn’t available for direct purchase just yet. Enthusiasts can sign up to receive notifications for its availability or check back on September 18, when the plush will officially join the store offerings. Given the anticipated level of interest, fans are encouraged to act fast when it becomes available.

At this moment, only a partial image of the Pokémon plush has been released, giving a glimpse into its design. Litten is depicted standing on four legs, boasting a signature raised tail, and maintaining its typical serious expression. The plush appears to be dressed in a garment adorned with an eye-catching orange and yellow geometric pattern along with Poke Ball logos, similar to previous Build-a-Bear Pokémon releases. While specific details regarding the outfit are not confirmed, customers should expect Litten to arrive with it upon purchase, as is customary with Build-a-Bear Pokémon releases.

Although the price for this exciting Pokémon Build-a-Bear has yet to be declared, other standard-size Pokémon plushes available currently are priced between $60 and $75, hinting that Litten will likely fall within that range. Fans of the original starters from Pokémon Sun and Moon should keep an eye out for potential future releases of Rowlet and Popplio, especially if Litten proves popular. However, Build-a-Bear has been known to vary its release patterns, so it may take time for those to come to fruition.
