Rayman's Twitter Account Resurfaces for First Time in Four Years

The official Twitter for the Rayman franchise issued a message for the first time in years, hinting at both nostalgia and future developments.

Fans of Rayman have reasons to celebrate as the franchise’s official Twitter account returned from a four-year hiatus. The account shared a nostalgic message regarding the series and hinted at upcoming developments.

Rayman Running Explosion

Launched in 1995 by Ubisoft Montpellier, the Rayman series has captivated audiences for decades, boasting five main games and various spin-offs. However, the last entry in the core series, Rayman Legends, debuted in 2013. In honor of the 30th anniversary of Rayman, developers recently shared an official statement reflecting on its history and suggesting future plans.

Rayman Twitter Account Shares Exciting New Message

After updating their profile image, the Rayman Twitter account posted a three-minute video featuring Loic Gounon, the brand producer, alongside composer Christophe Heral. This video was initially presented at the Rayman Alive fan event on September 1. Gounon expressed an intent to share the series’ history with behind-the-scenes content and developer interviews in the coming months.

Gounon also confirmed that new projects are underway, indicating that Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are collaborating on the next Rayman game, though fans should not expect news in the near future.

The enthusiasm amongst fans remains high following this announcement, reassured by the developers’ ongoing commitment to the Rayman legacy.
