'These works are crucial for our people's morale,' asserts co-owner of Ukrainian publishing firm after Games Workshop halts Warhammer novel translations
The cessation of Warhammer translations has sparked concern among Ukrainian readers regarding the availability of these crucial literary works.
After an arrangement to translate Warhammer novels for Ukrainian audiences fell through, co-owner of Molfar Comics, Oleksandr Nevskiy, expressed his discontent. He stated that,
“At a time when Ukraine is at war and we are fighting for our right to exist, having global products available in our native language plays an incredibly important role. These works are vital for the morale of our people, especially our soldiers—many of whom are our readers. We have repeatedly received photos of soldiers reading Warhammer books in trenches or in hospital beds.”
This situation is compounded by rumors amidst deteriorating relationships, which have sparked conspiracy theories concerning Games Workshop’s motivations.
