HoYoverse Unveils New Game: A Pokémon Auto-Battler

HoYoverse has introduced its upcoming game, Peekachoo, which resembles an auto-battler version of Pokémon.

Peekachoo: What You Need to Know

HoYoverse has announced its newest game, Peekachoo, which bears a striking resemblance to the popular Pokémon franchise. This game features similar mechanics, such as capturing creatures and engaging in battles, but with a unique twist that positions it firmly in the auto-battler genre.

“The wealth of those societies in which the capitalist mode of production prevails, presents itself as ‘an immense accumulation of Pokémon.’” - Karl Marx. Translation: The statement suggests a critique of wealth accumulation using Pokémon as a metaphor.

As players navigate a vibrant world, they will encounter various creatures to collect and utilize in combat scenarios. Unlike traditional turn-based systems, Peekachoo promises an engaging auto-battler experience.

Combat mechanics in Peekachoo are set to differ greatly from the classic Pokémon style, embracing a faster-paced environment whereby creatures pursue each other in an arena.

If you’re interested in trying out Peekachoo, there will be an upcoming testing phase; however, sign-ups close on September 12. Remember, all progress will be reset after the test.

Stay tuned for more updates as this new game develops!
