Logitech May Introduce Haptic Feedback with the Upcoming MX Master 4

New details about the Logitech MX Master 4 suggest it will feature haptic feedback for enhanced usability.

Do you want your mouse to rumble?

Recent leaks indicate that Logitech’s upcoming MX Master 4 might be equipped with haptic feedback, enhancing how users interact with their computers. Reports from Winfuture suggest that this new mouse will utilize vibration technology to provide feedback on various actions, such as switching between devices or adjusting the cursor. Instead of serving a dramatic gaming purpose, the haptic feature aims for practicality, allowing users to feel their adjustments without needing visual confirmation.

Additionally, users might have the option to modify the vibration intensity through the Logitech Options + app.

The new MX Master mouse is expected to be designed for productivity, following the MX Master 3S, which came out in June 2022. Features will include a new textured surface for easier cleaning and a customizable ‘Actions Ring’ near the thumb rest. The mouse is rumored to provide up to 70 days of battery life and will retail for around €130, with a launch date set for September 30, 2025.

The MX Master 4 could be a significant update, so it remains to be seen if the enhancements will justify the price increase from previous models.
