EA Confirms Persistent Portal Servers for Battlefield 6

EA has announced that Portal servers for Battlefield 6 will be persistent, allowing for permanent custom game instances.

In a significant development for players eager to enjoy Battlefield 6, EA has confirmed that servers operated through the Portal mode will be persistent. This means that players can set up servers that remain active and accessible even when they’re not actively hosting.

“Included with game purchase, players will also have the ability to make their hosted servers persistent, so it’s always listed in the browser for easy access.”

This feature addresses previous concerns about the temporary nature of servers, which hindered community building. EA’s decision to enable ongoing server hosting at no extra cost adds to the appeal of Battlefield 6 and allows players to establish longer-lasting gaming environments.

As the game approaches its release, regular updates will clarify how server functionality will operate, promising an engaging experience for fans.
