New Update for Mafia: The Old Country Arrives

The latest update for Mafia: The Old Country brings enhancements in gameplay and fixes numerous bugs.

Developer Hangar 13 has released a new update for Mafia: The Old Country that focuses on enhancing stability and fixing NPC-related issues. Set in early 1900s Sicily, the game follows the story of protagonist Enzo Favara and his journey into the Torrisi crime family. This edition has received acclaim for its stunning visuals, with some calling it one of the most impressive games of 2025. In addition to its outstanding graphics, the narrative has also garnered praise, earning it the second-highest Metacritic score in the series.

The recent update, the biggest yet, addresses various gameplay mechanics and bugs affecting players, including issues with companion characters like Luca and Cesare. The modifications made allow for smoother gameplay, eliminating certain objectives to progress through the storyline.

It also improves audio, visuals, and animation aspects, ensuring a more polished experience for gamers across all platforms. PlayStation 5 users will notice enhanced stability, while PC players can expect fixes related to DLSS Frame Generation performance during gameplay. Overall, these updates signify Hangar 13’s commitment to refining the game’s experience for its audience.

Further updates will continue to enhance the game, with a Free Ride mode also in the works for future implementation.
