Saber Interactive has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Patch 10, named the Anniversary Update, is set to launch on September 4, with a detailed roadmap extending into 2026. The game, which debuted in September 2024, has been well-received by both critics and gamers due to its engaging combat system. Although the short campaign and limited endgame content raised some eyebrows, subsequent content updates effectively addressed these issues.
Space Marine 2 Patch 10 and Future Roadmap Revealed
On August 28, Saber Interactive confirmed that Patch 10 would coincide with the game’s first anniversary. This update promises the addition of a new story mission, a PvE mode called Stratagems, and a PvP mode named Helbrute Onslaught, alongside new maps, weapons, enemies, and progression systems. The Chaos Armor Pack will also be included.
Patch 10 will also introduce Champion skin customization—an eagerly awaited feature allowing players to modify their armor. Players can mix armor parts from various Champions, but some restrictions will be in place. Additionally, for Season Pass 2, a new Black Templars Champion Pack and an Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack with over 40 items are planned.
The upcoming Year 2 roadmap outlines six significant patches scheduled from late 2025 to mid-2026. Among them, Patch 12 will bring the highly anticipated Techmarine class, ending the speculation that has lingered since the game’s launch. A year after release, Space Marine 2 has evolved into a content-rich experience, and with a clear roadmap ahead, players can expect ample new content soon.
