Great news: Hideo Kojima has already penned his vision for Death Stranding 3. However, he doesn’t plan to create it himself; instead, he hopes someone else will take the helm while he remains busy with various projects.
At a recent Death Stranding 2 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Kojima revealed, “Well, I’m not planning to do [Death Stranding 3] at the moment… But I already wrote the concept of Death Stranding 3.”
He hopes another talented team will develop it.
While it’s exciting to hear about his future plans for the franchise, I find it a bit odd that this announcement came from Saudi Arabia, a nation often criticized for using events to enhance its image. Kojima has never hesitated to address political issues in games, and I can’t help but feel uncomfortable about his choice of venue.
