Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the anticipated sequel in the classic RPG remake series, is now available to play on PC. In celebration of its release, Square Enix has crafted three charming Chocobo Steam Decks, which will be given away to benefit the UK charity Special Effect. This initiative highlights the charity’s commitment to making gaming accessible for individuals with physical disabilities by developing custom control setups that traditional gamepads do not accommodate.
The giveaway coincides with the charity’s Game Blast fundraising weekend, allowing participants from the EU and UK a chance to win not just one, but two unique gaming devices. However, it’s worth noting that the Chocobo Steam Deck has some quirks; due to its fluffy design, it may get excessively warm. As such, winners will also receive a standard Steam Deck for actual gameplay.
