Cairn Introduces Free Solo Mode for Adventurous Climbers
The upcoming game Cairn will include a Free Solo mode, allowing players to embrace their inner daredevil when it launches in November.
Cairn has impressed enthusiasts since its announcement last June. The survival climbing simulator features cutting-edge climbing mechanics, allowing players to engage in realistic ascents. A demo is available on Steam.
The developers, The Game Bakers, recently announced a new Free Solo mode that allows climbers to scale the game’s mountains without any support, enhancing realism and immersion. As per their press release, “True to its name, Free Solo mode puts players on the wall with no pitons and no rope.” This mode requires players to rely solely on their climbing skills to survive.
“The mode is meant for players who want to test themselves and experience the razor-edge tension that real free climbers live on the wall,” they added.
Cairn is set for release on November 5, meaning fans have much to look forward to.
