Dead by Daylight developers from Behaviour Interactive have expressed their enthusiasm about integrating notable horror icons into the game, specifically the 2022 doll M3GAN and the acclaimed horror author Stephen King, renowned for his works like It and The Shining.

In a recent update, the developers have introduced a new killer named The Houndmaster, the first Killer to come equipped with an AI-controlled companion, alongside a Survivor named Taurie Cain.
