New Co-Op Survival Game 'Witchspire' Unveiled by Envar Studio
Envar announces 'Witchspire', their first original co-op survival title, at Gamescom, set for release in 2026.
The studio behind Overwatch, Envar, has revealed its first original project, Witchspire, during Gamescom 2025. This co-op survival adventure is expected to launch in 2026, initially for PC through Steam Early Access.
Witchspire will allow players to step into the shoes of novice witches exploring a treacherous landscape filled with distorted creatures and magical mysteries. Gameplay offers both solo and team options, enabling cooperative play for up to four participants.
Gameplay Mechanics
Witchspire emphasizes an exploration-focused experience, featuring crafting mechanics, creature taming, and an engaging storyline that reveals ancient secrets. Players will navigate the enchanting world on foot or use flying brooms, integrating creature collection as a core element of exploration and combat.
The game is positioned as both an expansive sandbox and a socially interactive environment, encouraging players to personalize their witches through unique gear and affiliations, alongside a progression system that is partly driven by gear and partly by leveling up.
The title currently awaits confirmation for additional platforms beyond PC.
