Initially launched as a standard battle royale experience, Fortnite has gradually intertwined itself with the music industry. Over time, the game introduced musical emotes and live events, starting with Marshmello’s virtual concert at Pleasant Park, which coincided with unique cosmetic items.

As the festival prepares for its tenth season, speculation has swirled regarding potential headliners. Although many believed Daft Punk might make a virtual reunion, it has now been confirmed that Gorillaz will headline the Music Pass this season.

Unfortunately, not every member of Gorillaz will be accessible through the Music Pass; players can unlock Murdoc Niccals and Russel Hobbs through the pass, while 2D and Noodle will require separate purchases in the Item Shop after the festival begins. The Fortnite Festival Season 10 is set to commence on August 26, 2025, following the game’s latest update.
