I’m all for a straightforward set of instructions on how to join a video game. However, for the latest collaboration between Final Fantasy 14 and Monster Hunter, it might have been useful to add a little disclaimer stating that it will take quite a bit of time to fully participate.

How to participate in the Monster Hunter collaboration:

1. Create a character: Essentially, buy the game.
2. Invest Time: Complete the base game, four expansions, and around 500 hours of content to reach Arkveld. This may take even longer if you want to complete side quests or level different classes—simple enough, right?
