Surprising Reveal for Black Myth: Zhong Kui at Gamescom 2025

The sequel to Black Myth: Wukong introduces a new deity character alongside captivating gameplay and visuals.

The long-awaited sequel to Black Myth: Wukong, titled Black Myth: Zhong Kui, was showcased at Gamescom 2025, featuring an exciting reveal trailer. This new title focuses on Zhong Kui, a god from Chinese mythology known for vanquishing evil spirits and riding a majestic tiger.

During the event, Geoff Keighley presented the trailer, providing fans with a glimpse of the thrilling gameplay anticipated from this latest action RPG.

As shared by Game Science, the team is still in the early phases of development, concentrating on delivering unique experiences. Although the project is described as having little more than a foundation at this point, the developers aim to experiment with gameplay elements that will distinguish Zhong Kui from previous characters.

“Thanks to the unwavering support from our players, the first title has been well-received, and we hope to create even more compelling storytelling and gameplay features in this sequel,” Game Science conveyed.
