During the closing ceremonies of the 2025 Pokemon World Championships, a new four-player battle mode called the Z-A Battle Club was announced for Pokemon Legends: Z-A. The new combat style departs from the traditional turn-based format, featuring real-time battles with instant cooldowns for moves. Players can swap out their Pokemon dynamically during matches, allowing for tactical adjustments.

More details on the gameplay mechanics are expected to emerge, as Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set to combine elements from previous titles while exploring new concepts tailored for both veteran trainers and newcomers alike.
