flashie Expresses Pride in Team Performance Despite Loss to Vitality
Liquid's coach reflects on the team's progress following a challenging match against the top team in the world, Vitality, during the BLAST Bounty Finals.
Liquid’s coach, Viktor ‘flashie’ Tamás Bea, shared his thoughts after the team’s exit from the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 Finals in Malta, where they faced off against the world’s top team, Vitality. Despite the 0-2 loss, he expressed pride in the team’s performance and believes that such experiences will foster future growth.
“We can see that we can compete, and that’s a very good sign,” said flashie, emphasizing the positives following the challenging match. Liquid managed to fight back on both maps, but ultimately fell short, losing 16-13 on Train and 19-16 on Nuke.
He remarked on the importance of maintaining confidence and working hard:
"…this will push our confidence a little bit more, which is needed for us. But this will be all for nothing if we don’t keep working hard. The key is to keep working, keep being humble, and keep our goals ahead of ourselves."
Flashie is hopeful that this experience, although tough, contributes positively to their ongoing journey in competitive play. He stated, “It really hurts now, to not win a map in this close best-of-three, but at the same time, I’m going to tell the boys that I’m really proud of how they played today.”
