ASUS hints at an upcoming Xbox controller, with details expected at Gamescom 2025.

A brief promotional video released by ASUS showcases the silhouette of an upcoming Xbox controller, with more information set to be revealed at Gamescom 2025. Known for their gaming PCs and components, ASUS also offers gaming-focused phones and accessories for console players.

The video highlights the typical Xbox controller shape, featuring a glimpse of paddle buttons at the back. Significant announcements are anticipated at Gamescom, happening from August 20 to August 24. ASUS is recognized as a Premium Partner this year, akin to Nintendo, which will also participate.

The teaser hints at a new material being introduced, potentially signifying innovative developments in the controller space. ASUS previously implemented magnetic technology in their gaming keyboards, suggesting a similar approach might be used here.

With the ASUS ROG Raikiri Pro controller, released in 2023, ASUS has ample experience to enhance its new model. The Raikiri Pro boasted an outstanding battery life of 48 hours. The new controller is expected to elevate the gaming experience with advancements beyond mere battery improvements.
