Bad News for Some Players: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Not Launching on Switch 2

A new leak suggests that the upcoming game won't be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, raising concerns among fans.

A new leak from a reliable industry insider indicates that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not be ready for Nintendo Switch 2 on launch day, even with Microsoft’s agreement to bring new Call of Duty releases to Nintendo systems simultaneously with Xbox.

While Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been confirmed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, anticipation among fans for a simultaneous launch on the Switch 2 remains unfulfilled.

Black Ops 7 Likely Not Coming to Switch 2 at Launch

Despite prior agreements, Activision or Microsoft have yet to disclose whether Black Ops 7 will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2. Industry insider Billbil-kun, known for their accuracy with release information, has claimed that the new Call of Duty installment won’t debut on the Switch 2 when it launches. This aligns with earlier leaks suggesting Black Ops 7 is set for release on November 14, although it may come to the Switch later.

Further details might emerge soon, as the world premiere of Black Ops 7 is scheduled for August 19 during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live.
