Major Cartel Update for Schedule 1 Now Available in Beta

The much-anticipated Cartel update for Schedule 1 has been officially launched, bringing new features and challenges to players.

The eagerly awaited Cartel update for Schedule 1 is now rolling out on the game’s Steam beta branch. This major update introduces a formidable rival gang, the Benzies family. While currently exclusive to the beta, all players can participate in testing the features prior to the full rollout.

Schedule 1 has emerged as one of the year’s most significant indie games, amassing over 459,000 players within its first few days. Earlier this year, the creator, Tyler, allowed fans to vote on the first significant content update, with the Cartel update winning out over alternatives like a police expansion.

Cartel Update Now Live

The update has finally been made available after its postponement from July. This revision has generated considerable excitement among the community since its launch, and rightly so. According to the patch notes, players will soon encounter the criminal Benzies family as they advance in the game, unlocking numerous new features including ambushes and property acquisitions.

At present, no specific release date for the complete version of the update has been established, although the beta is expected to conclude by August 15. For immediate access, players can join the Schedule 1 beta via Steam, albeit keeping in mind that it may contain bugs needing resolution before the final release.

Patch Notes Highlights

  • Benzies family added as a rival cartel-accessed after certain customer unlocks.
  • Introduction of new purchasable property—Hyland Manor—after completing the Benzies storyline.
  • Added vehicles and new gameplay commands.

Fans are advised to take caution as the update may have remaining issues which could affect gameplay.
