Delay Announced for Crimson Desert

The release of Crimson Desert has been postponed to the first quarter of 2026 due to production issues.

Crimson Desert has been delayed again, and its release date is now set for the first quarter of 2026. This medieval open-world RPG was first revealed in 2019, with multiple delays affecting its schedule. Although it appears to be making progress, fans will have to remain patient a bit longer.

In a recent Pearl Abyss earnings call, the studio announced, “Due to delays with external partners overseeing voiceovers and console certification, we are unable to keep to the previously announced release timeframe.”

While they have provided a new release window, specifics remain unclear. However, a demo is expected to be available at Gamescom 2025, giving players a taste of what to expect. Undoubtedly, excitement is still alive for this title as it inches toward completion.
