Pokemon GO Players Set for Compensation Over Raid Day Glitch
Players of Pokemon GO are due for compensation following a significant glitch that affected the recent Raid Day event, leading to lower spawn rates of certain Pokemon.
Niantic has confirmed that Pokemon GO players will receive compensation for a major bug that affected the recent Ultra Unlock Raid Day, which impacted specific spawn rates for certain Pokémon. The mobile game has hosted numerous significant events over the summer, featuring a variety of new Pokémon.
This year’s Pokemon GO Fest brought various incentives as part of its Ultra Unlock campaign, prompting players to complete Global Challenges to unlock rewards. However, a particular bug during the Raid Day has led to an inconsistency in the game. Niantic will compensate players for the issues caused by the bug in due time, though details about the rewards are not yet provided.
This glitch detracted from what was slated to be a crucial segment of the Pokemon GO Fest celebrations. The game will host the much-anticipated Max Finale, welcoming the introduction of Eternatus within the mobile experience. Upcoming Community Days are also set to feature various Pokémon from different regions, everything leading up to a thrilling conclusion of the current event season.
