Aggro Crab has announced that the first major update for its game Peak is set to roll out on August 11. Following the release of their previous success Another Crab’s Treasure in 2024, Aggro Crab presented Peak, a game designed for casual enjoyment among friends or for solo gameplay.

Peak was released on June 16, and players are tasked with climbing to the center of a mountain to escape a mysterious island. The challenge is heightened due to procedurally generated maps, requiring players to navigate various biomes, manage injuries, gather food, and utilize statues to revive fallen teammates.

In a brief teaser for the update, titled “Update Mesa,” a video demonstrates characters from Peak navigating a desert while evading a sandstorm. This new content aims to introduce a new biome after weeks of regular updates.

The cooperative gameplay has led to Peak becoming exceptionally popular, reaching five million copies sold shortly after its release and encouraging ongoing development for new features, including localization and quality-of-life enhancements.

Further updates may also expand the game’s platform availability beyond its current status on Steam and Steam Deck.
