Mark Your Calendars: August 12 is Significant for Phasmophobia Enthusiasts

Fans of the horror game Phasmophobia should be excited about the new in-game content arriving on August 12.

Phasmophobia fans can mark August 12 on their calendars for an exciting in-game update. This date is significant for fans of the paranormal horror game, which initially debuted on PC in September 2020 and later reached platforms like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in October 2024.

The game allows one to four players to complete contracts by identifying the type of ghost haunting specific locations.

Upcoming Features on August 12

This upcoming update will introduce the Grafton Farmhouse Rework. Players can expect changes like faulty electronics, ceiling collapses, and layers of dust, along with new themed rooms such as a creepy attic and a chilling seamstress room. The modifications to the Grafton Farmhouse will resemble previous updates made to locations like Bleasedale Farmhouse.

Additionally, 2025 will bring the Nell’s Diner map, a retro-themed restaurant. Its small size is a positive aspect, addressing player preferences for less expansive maps.

The game’s developers hint at a major overhaul, dubbed Horror 2.0, anticipated for 2026, which promises extensive changes, particularly in audio experiences, indicating that it may feel like an entirely new game.

Stay tuned for more updates and further exciting features!
