On August 2, Marvel Rivals developer NetEase Games unveiled the patch notes for its Season 3.5, which included adjustments, bug fixes, and an introduction to Blade, a new character. This content update is set to go live on August 8 after a short maintenance period lasting two to three hours.
The introduction of Blade, the vampire-slaying antihero, marks a significant addition to the game. Known as Eric Cross Brooks, Blade is a Dhampir on a mission to eliminate vampires with his unique mix of combat skills and weapons. His ultimate ability, Thousand-Fold Slash, allows him to damage opponents significantly while reducing their healing capabilities.
With the launch of this season, players can expect new lore and content, including a limited-time event called the Queen’s Codex, featuring unlockable costumes and various new items.
Moreover, the patch will enhance community interaction through a new chat moderation system, offering players the ability to filter out unwanted words during gameplay.
The update will officially kick off on August 8 at 09:00:00 (UTC), along with a new Roadmap that will unveil further content throughout the month.
