Among Us 3D Introduces VIP Mode: A Blast from the Past

The latest update for Among Us 3D brings back a nostalgic VIP mode reminiscent of Team Fortress Classic, revamping gameplay for fans.

I haven’t played VIP since way back in Team Fortress Classic, and I realized I miss it.

The Original VIP Experience

In TFC VIP mode, one player, also known as the Civilian, had no weapons and had to be protected by teammates against a team of snipers. It was a thrilling experience, emphasizing teamwork as players navigated from one safe zone to another.

New Beginnings in Among Us 3D

Now, this beloved mode is making a comeback in Among Us 3D with a feature termed “Critical Cargo.” In this mode, one crewmate is randomly designated as the VIP (or Critical Crewmate) while others must safeguard them from intruders attempting to eliminate them.

B.E.A.N.S. (the Better Evaluation and Knowledge Suit) is introduced to assist the crew, equipped with a scanner to identify threats, albeit with some inefficiencies noted by players.

Conclusion

It’s refreshing to see the re-emergence of VIP modes in modern multiplayer games, and the Critical Cargo event in Among Us 3D is running until October 2.
