Electoral Fraud Rocks GOG as Fans Cast Fake Votes for Digimon World

A significant voting scandal has emerged on GOG's Dreamlist, primarily involving fake ballots for Digimon World, leading to the removal of numerous votes.

The core of democracy is a fair voting system. Unfortunately, the integrity of this process has been challenged by an influx of fraudulent votes from Digimon enthusiasts on GOG’s Dreamlist. GOG announced a staggering discovery, stating that within a short period, Digimon World garnered over 52,000 votes, with around half being identified as fraudulent.

“Between July 1st and July 21st, the game received over 52,000 votes. After reviewing the surge, we found that approximately 26,000 votes during that period were cast by fake accounts.”

To preserve the authenticity of the Dreamlist, GOG has removed these illegitimate votes. The platform aims to reflect genuine support for games that deserve a spot in their catalog. While GOG acknowledges the enthusiasm of Digimon World fans, they remain committed to ensuring the voting data is credible and representative.
