Persona 3 Reload Officially Set for Nintendo Switch 2 Release

Atlus has announced that the highly acclaimed Persona 3 Reload will launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 this October.

The July 31 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase revealed exciting news for fans of Persona: Persona 3 Reload is confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2 release this October. Recognized as one of the franchise’s standout entries, Persona 3 Reload is regarded as one of the top remakes expected in 2024.

Originally debuted in July 2006 for the PS2, Persona 3 is a turn-based JRPG where players engage as a new high school student joining the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), tasked with exploring the mysterious “Dark Hour” and battling Shadows in the tower known as Tartarus. The remake, which utilized Unreal Engine 4, was well received when it launched on various platforms earlier this year.

Set for a digital release on Thursday, October 23, pre-orders for Persona 3 Reload are live on the Nintendo eShop, starting at $59.99 for the standard edition, with deluxe options available as well.

However, fans should note that information on the Episode Aigis DLC’s availability at launch remains unclear, and physical copies will be distributed using Game-Key Cards, which necessitate an internet connection for access.

As this launch unfolds, along with the development of Persona 4 Revival, Atlus fans have much to anticipate in the coming months.
