In a recent statement, EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson indicated that the company is not planning to hike game prices, specifically for Battlefield 6. Wilson mentioned that they will maintain current pricing and are not considering changes to the $70 price point that has become more common among major game releases.
“We’re not looking to make any changes on pricing at this stage,” Wilson said during an investor meeting.
Translation: ‘We have no intentions of raising the prices at this moment.’
This comment aligns EA with other major game publishers like Microsoft and Nintendo, who have similarly adjusted their pricing strategies amid industry shifts.
