The Sims 4 received a new update that resolves several issues and provides adjustments to elements from the latest expansion. This follows the launch of the Enchanted by Nature expansion earlier this month.
The update introduces significant changes, including new gameplay features and fixes for various bugs noted by players. For instance, the frequency of Ailments has been decreased to enhance gameplay fluidity. Players are now expected to encounter Ailments less often, averaging every three days instead of daily, significantly improving the game’s balance system.
Additionally, EA addressed a console-specific issue which limited access to the Gallery feature. They have highlighted a workaround for players needing to agree to the User Agreement before accessing certain online functionalities.
Other minor enhancements include allowing Naturopaths days off during holidays and restoring specific visual elements for characters.
Here are some of the notable adjustments detailed in the July 29 patch notes:
- Ailments are now less contagious, triggering up to 75% less frequently.
- Balance alterations prevent Sims from facing drastic emotional drops after witnessing significant events.
- Career-specific jobs, including Naturopaths, respect holidays, giving Sims needed downtime.
Overall, these updates reflect ongoing improvements aimed at elevating the experience for all Sims 4 players.
