Pokemon TCG Pocket is designed to simplify the card game experience on mobile, making it accessible for both newcomers and long-time fans. Players anticipated a new expansion before August based on hints and updates from the developers.

On July 30, significant features will roll out, including the introduction of legendary Pokemon such as Lugia and Ho-Oh, alongside classic starter Pokemon Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, plus new Trainers from the Johto region. The new updates will also introduce over 200 fresh cards and a revamped trading system—players will begin using shinedust instead of consuming cards for trade.
